For a more comprehensive review of ETECH and its related services, including a greater variety of images and production examples, the company has issued a DigiBook publication entitled The Future is Steel. Similar to an e-book, a DigiBook features intuitive page-turning effects and combines the ease of regular book reading with the thrill of on-screen interactivity.

The DigiBook is read intuitively: Turn pages by clicking the right side of the book to advance, or click the left side to return. Links within the book highlight when moused over and offer easy navigation between sections, provide access to image enlargements, allow email sending or website connections. Image enlargements and secondary layouts (pop-ups) can be moved around screen; they can be printed or closed using the pop-up’s tabs. Print main layout pages by right clicking on the book and choosing Print. Click the Exit prompts located throughout the book at any time to finish reading.

The all-in-one Zip file download is 11.6 Mb in size and consists of three files—the reader (dwbreader.exe) which must be installed first for the book to be read; the book itself (ETECH Light.dnl); and some brief operating instructions (How to read your DigiBook.txt).
